About This Trail
A 15-mile loop through Shawnee State Forest, known as the Little Smokies of Ohio, with steep climbs and drops exceeding 400 feet through dense Appalachian hardwood ridges. Camping is restricted to designated camp areas with fire rings, latrines, and trucked-in water cisterns along this demanding southern Ohio backcountry route.
