About This Trail

A 4.4-mile out-and-back in the Edge of Appalachia Preserve climbing to Buzzardroost Rock, a limestone promontory high above Ohio Brush Creek offering what many call Ohio’s most spectacular panoramic view. The trail ascends through mixed mesophytic forest co-managed by the Cincinnati Museum Center and The Nature Conservancy.

Getting There

From West Union, take OH-125 east approximately 7.5 miles toward the village of Lynx. Watch for the Edge of Appalachia sign on the right, then turn right off SR-125 to the gravel parking area.
