About This Trail

A longer mountain route connecting Route 4 at Sherburne Pass to Pico Peak via the Long Trail corridor through varied elevation and mixed northern forest. The trail passes through one of the most significant trail crossings in Vermont’s Long Trail system.

Getting There

From Rutland, take US-4 east toward Killington. At the highest point of Sherburne Pass, park in the lot on the left across from The Inn at Long Trail. The trailhead is well-marked.
