About This Trail
A 10-mile backcountry loop within Ohio’s second-largest state forest, with options extending up to 30 miles across three loop configurations. Rolling ridges with elevation changes up to 300 feet traverse mature forest, and free self-issued permits at the Hope Schoolhouse Trailhead grant access to backcountry camps with fire rings and latrines.
