About This Trail

An 8-mile round-trip to the Adirondacks’ second-highest summit at 5,114 feet, climbing 2,900 feet through the MacIntyre Range. The trail passes MacIntyre Falls before emerging above treeline to a broad, exposed summit with panoramic views in all directions. Fragile alpine vegetation requires hikers to stay on marked paths and bare rock.
