About This Trail

A 7-mile round-trip to the 4,580-foot summit, the 16th-highest of the 46 High Peaks, known as the windiest peak in the park. The final stretch above treeline is marked by cairns across exposed rock. Near the summit, a plaque and scattered debris mark the site of a 1962 B-47 military aircraft crash.
