About This Trail

An AT ridge segment in Vernon featuring the famous Pochuck Boardwalk and suspension bridge on the approach, then climbing to broad valley views from Pochuck Mountain. The contrast between the flat wetland crossing and the rocky ridge above makes this one of the AT’s most varied segments in New Jersey.
