About This Trail
An easy coastal park walk around “Old Barney,” the 172-foot Barnegat Lighthouse at the northern tip of Long Beach Island. The trail circles the inlet with views of the bay, ocean, and the historic 1859 lighthouse. A maritime forest boardwalk section adds habitat diversity to this short outing.
