About This Trail
A half-mile walk from the Laurel Summit Road parking area leads to Beam Rocks, a dramatic sandstone outcrop with panoramic Laurel Highlands views and minimal elevation change. This Forbes State Forest overlook is one of the best beginner-friendly vista hikes in the region. Pair it with nearby Wolf Rocks, just 1.6 miles away, for a full day of ridge views.
