About This Trail
A 6.2-mile inland loop circling Beaver Lake through wetland edges, boreal forest, and quieter backcountry sections of Pictured Rocks. The trail passes beaver ponds and marsh habitat, offering wildlife viewing away from the popular lakeshore routes. Moderate terrain with some muddy sections, especially in spring and early summer.
