About This Trail
An 8-mile segment of the North Country Trail following the Lake Superior shoreline through Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, passing dramatic sandstone cliffline overlooks and mixed boreal forest. This section offers some of the most photographed cliff-edge views in the park. Moderate terrain with rocky footing and exposed bluff sections.
