About This Trail

Set within Lake Chicot State Park on North America’s largest oxbow lake, this trail follows grassy paths past bluebird nesting boxes in the Mississippi River flyway. Over 206 bird species have been recorded here, including kites, hawks, and bald eagles amid the bottomland hardwood habitat.
