About This Trail
Winding through a cypress island at the north end of Bluff Lake in Noxubee National Wildlife Refuge, this boardwalk leads to a roofed overlook. During summer, thousands of nesting egrets, herons, and ibis fill the rookery visible from the platform, with alligators inhabiting the waters below.
