About This Trail

Linking five local parks along former Columbus & Greenville and Mobile & Ohio railroad routes, this National Recreation Trail forms a 4-mile loop through West Point. Lighted walkways, gazebos, fountains, and native hardwood shade trees make it one of Mississippi’s first and finest rails-to-trails projects.

Getting There

From US-82, take US-45 Alt (Route 25) north to West Point. The trail begins near Greenwood Cemetery on E. Church Hill Road with parking also available at West Point City Park on E. Main Street.
