About This Trail
Following the Tombigbee River through downtown Columbus for 4.4 well-lit miles, this paved trail features benches, shelters, and a restored 1920s swing bridge converted for pedestrian use. Hardwood forests, open fields, and a butterfly garden line the riverfront route along Mississippi’s historic waterway corridor.
