About This Trail

A strenuous 1.5-mile yellow-blazed climb gaining 1,000 feet to the 1,765-foot summit of Bob’s Hill in Cunningham Falls State Park. Two short spur trails at the top lead to North and South lookouts with panoramic Catoctin Mountain views. One of the best hill-training hikes in Maryland.

Getting There

From Thurmont, take US-15 south to the Manor Area entrance of Cunningham Falls State Park. Park in the Manor Area day-use lot. The Bob's Hill trailhead is directly across from the Manor Area visitor center.
