About This Trail
A 0.9-mile moderate climb gaining 206 feet to a bench-equipped overlook at 1,502 feet in Catoctin Mountain Park, offering views southeast across the Frederick Valley and Thurmont. Exposed metabasalt rocks from ancient volcanic activity line the trail through oaks and maples.
