About This Trail

This 2.2-mile easy wildlife trail at Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge follows managed impoundments and tidal marsh edges where bald eagles, great blue herons, and migrating waterfowl are commonly observed. The flat one-mile trail passes through freshwater marsh and forest habitat, part of the refuge’s 12-mile wildlife drive and five-trail walking network.

Getting There

From Smyrna, take Route 9 north to Whitehall Neck Road and follow it to Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge. Parson Point Trail is located along the southern portion of the wildlife drive.
