About This Trail

A historic stone stairway trail connecting downtown Ithaca to the Cornell University campus, ascending 400 feet past eight waterfalls ranging from 8 to 80 feet in height. The 1920s-era stone trails and staircases wind through ancient bedrock along Cascadilla Creek. Voted Ithaca’s favorite gorge trail.
