About This Trail

A 1.5-mile stone-path gorge walk climbing 500 feet over 800 steps past 19 waterfalls and 200-foot cliffs. Highlights include walking behind Cavern Cascade and viewing Rainbow Falls from stone bridges. Open seasonally from late May through mid-October, this is one of the most photographed trails in New York.

Getting There

From the NY Thruway, take exit 42 and follow NY-14 south for 33 miles through Geneva to Watkins Glen. The park entrance is at the junction of Routes 14 and 414 in the village.
