About This Trail
A vigorous 1.5-mile yellow-blazed climb to Cat Rock’s summit at 1,560 feet, where 500-million-year-old quartzite outcrops yield sweeping views of the Blue Ridge Mountains and Frederick Valley. The final approach requires hands-and-feet scrambling over exposed rock.
