About This Trail
Beginning near Brinegar Cabin at Blue Ridge Parkway milepost 238.5, this 4.2-mile descent drops over 2,000 feet along a forested ridgeline into Doughton Park. Part of the Mountains-to-Sea Trail, the route passes through open vistas, pine forests, and diverse Appalachian hardwoods in Alleghany County.
