About This Trail
A 2.4-mile loop in Giuffrida Park ascends 688-foot Chauncey Peak, a traprock summit with west-facing cliffs plunging 300 feet to Crescent Lake below. Part of the Mattabesett Trail and New England National Scenic Trail, it features rare plant communities and expansive central CT views.
