About This Trail
A 3.8-mile moderate gorge hike along the Clear Fork of the Mohican River through a National Natural Landmark gorge that is 1,000 feet wide and over 300 feet deep. The trail passes through old-growth hemlock and white pine forest formed by glacial meltwater 14,000 to 24,000 years ago, with river overlooks and varied rocky footing.
