About This Trail

A 5-mile ridge trail above the Clear Fork Gorge, a 1,000-foot-wide, 300-foot-deep National Natural Landmark carved by glacial meltwater. The route traverses white pine and eastern hemlock forest along the gorge rim, with overlooks down to the Clear Fork of the Mohican River and moderate climbs between drainage crossings.

Getting There

From Loudonville, head south on SR 3 to Mohican State Park along the Clear Fork of the Mohican River. The park is accessed from SR 3 and SR 97 in Ashland County.
