About This Trail
A 2.8-mile loop through Doris Duke Woods, a 120-acre old-growth forest at Malabar Farm State Park officially protected by the Ohio legislature in 2021. The gentle trail honors philanthropist Doris Duke, who saved these woods from auction after the death of Pulitzer Prize-winning author Louis Bromfield, whose 32-room Big House hosted the Bogart-Bacall wedding.
