About This Trail
Starting from Sand Springs Road in Coopers Rock State Forest, this moderately difficult trail winds through 12,747 acres of Monongalia County forest. Rocky terrain and varied grades challenge hikers within one of West Virginia’s most popular outdoor destinations, just 13 miles east of Morgantown.
