About This Trail
Dropping abruptly from Sand Springs Road through Coopers Rock State Forest, this moderately difficult trail traverses rugged terrain in Monongalia County. Limited blazes and occasional downed trees add a backcountry feel within the 12,747-acre forest overlooking the Cheat River canyon.
