About This Trail
Beginning near the forest entrance, this 2.5-mile trail descends to Scott Run before rolling alongside the creek through soft pines and rhododendron. Softball-sized rocks line the eroded streambed on the return ascent, connecting hikers to the McCollum camping area in Coopers Rock State Forest.
