About This Trail

Walking the grounds where Brigadier General Daniel Morgan’s forces defeated the British on January 17, 1781, this 2-mile loop features interpretive stops and wayside exhibits. A visitor center displays authentic Revolutionary War weapons including a three-pounder cannon, with free admission to this pivotal battlefield site.

Getting There

From I-85, take Exit 83 and turn left on Highway 110. Continue approximately 8 miles, then turn right on Highway 11. Cowpens National Battlefield is half a mile ahead on the right near Chesnee.
