About This Trail

Blue-blazed and 16 miles long, this National Recreation Trail loops through hardwood forest, over rolling piedmont hills, and past granite outcroppings near a Revolutionary War battlefield. Connecting Kings Mountain State Park to the National Military Park, the route follows streams and passes a historic fire tower.

Getting There

From I-77 Exit 82 north of Rock Hill, drive west on SC-161 to York. Turn right onto US-321/SC-161, stay on SC-161 left at the fork, and continue to Park Road leading to Kings Mountain State Park.
