About This Trail

The scenic but fairly strenuous access trail climbs from Dockery Lake to Miller Gap, with some beautiful views along the way.

Recent reports say that some markers are either missing or hard to find, and downed trees make the hike a little more difficult in some places, though efforts have been made to remedy these problems.

Getting There

From Dahlonega, take US 19 north to GA 60. Turn right on GA 60 and continue approximately 12 miles. Turn left on FS 654 and follow to Dockery Lake Recreation Area.
