About This Trail

Starting from Tunnel Ridge Road, this 4.6-mile route traverses old-growth forest to reach Double Arch, one of Red River Gorge’s most impressive formations. A short scramble at the arch rewards hikers with 300-degree views of Auxier Ridge, Courthouse Rock, and Haystack Rock.

Getting There

From Slade, take KY-15 toward Campton, then turn onto KY-715. Continue to Tunnel Ridge Road for access to the Auxier Ridge area. Double Arch Trail connects from the Auxier Ridge Trailhead parking circle.
