About This Trail

Ascending through oak and pine woods at Paris Mountain State Park, this 0.4-mile spur climbs to the ruins of an old fire tower and caretaker’s house on the upper ridgeline. Mountain laurel blooms along the creek sections, with Blue Ridge Mountain views filtering through the canopy.

Getting There

From downtown Greenville, take US-25 north approximately 6 miles. Turn right on SC-253, continue 2.5 miles, and turn left onto State Park Road. Paris Mountain State Park is at 2401 State Park Road.
