About This Trail

This easy out-and-back trail in Raven Rock State Park leads to an overlook above Fish Traps, a rapid on the Cape Fear River named for natural potholes in the rock that trap water and fish. The riverside area is one of the best fishing spots in the park, home to largemouth bass, bluegill, and catfish.
