About This Trail
Winding through a 2,965-acre Heritage Preserve, this trail reaches a dramatic 14-acre granite monadnock harboring one of the world’s most endangered plants, the pool sprite. Vernal pools, beaver ponds with summer water lilies, and nearly a dozen rare species make this piedmont outcrop ecologically extraordinary.
