A 2.4-mile gentle interpretive trail through one of Michigan’s last stands of virgin white pine at Hartwick Pines State Park, where some trees are over 300 years old and reach 150 feet tall. The accessible path passes through a cathedral-like canopy with interpretive signs about Michigan’s logging history. The park’s Old Growth Forest Foot Trail begins at the historic logging museum.
