About This Trail
A 3.2-mile steep granite route gaining roughly 500 feet over the final half-mile to panoramic views over Lake Superior, inland lakes, and the Marquette iron range. The final push requires some four-point scrambling over exposed rock. Considerably more challenging than nearby Sugarloaf, this trail rewards strong hikers with one of Marquette’s finest overlooks.
