About This Trail
A 9-mile segment of the North Country Trail traversing upland forest ridges south of Marquette with connections to the city’s extensive trail network. The route passes through mixed hardwood and hemlock forest with views of Lake Superior terrain. Rocky sections and moderate elevation changes make this a solid day hike in the central Upper Peninsula.
