About This Trail
A 1.4-mile round-trip climb six miles north of downtown Marquette, ascending 278 feet via wooden staircases and rocky sections to a viewing platform atop a granite bluff. The summit offers sweeping panoramic views of Lake Superior, the Marquette harbor, and the surrounding forested ridgelines. One of the Upper Peninsula’s most popular short hikes.
