About This Trail

Winding through Petit Jean State Park’s forests on Petit Jean Mountain, this one-mile path passes beneath fragrant honeysuckle-draped canopy, especially aromatic in late spring. Canyon views and ancient sandstone formations of Arkansas’s first state park surround the gentle wooded route.

Getting There

From Hot Springs, take Central Avenue to Fountain Street. The Honeysuckle Trail begins on Hot Springs Mountain Drive, approximately 50 yards past the Happy Hollow jug fountain.
