About This Trail

The Battle of Horseshoe Bend marked the close of the Creek Indian War in 1814.

This historic trail takes the form of a loop, with short spurs leading off to a certain exhibit from time to time. The path is gravel and easy to hike.

Getting There

From Dadeville, take AL 49 north approximately 12 miles to Horseshoe Bend National Military Park. Enter the park and follow signs to the trailhead parking. The trail begins near the visitor center.
