Winding 1.4 miles along the lagoon through maritime forest on this 5,000-acre semitropical barrier island, the trail provides views of diverse wildlife from loggerhead sea turtles to painted buntings. Connections to the Maritime Forest Trail and Little Hunting Island extend the exploration at South Carolina’s most visited state park.
