About This Trail

Starting at Skyline Drive milepost 9.2, this old fire road descends through hardwood forest to a series of cascades dropping roughly 80 feet through a narrow gorge. Water flow peaks in spring snowmelt and after summer rains. A quiet alternative to Shenandoah’s more crowded waterfall hikes.

Getting There

From Front Royal, enter Shenandoah National Park via the North Entrance. Drive south on Skyline Drive to milepost 9.2 and park in the lot on the west side for the Lands Run Falls trailhead.
