About This Trail
An easy 1-mile boardwalk and forest trail to Laughing Whitefish Falls, a 100-foot multi-tiered cascade flowing over stepped limestone formations. A wooden stairway descends along the falls with multiple overlook platforms at different levels. The Laughing Whitefish River setting in Alger County makes this one of the Upper Peninsula’s most scenic accessible waterfall hikes.
