This demanding yellow-blazed trail skirts along the rocky cliffs west of Little Pinnacle, navigating stone stairs, exposed roots, and boulders beneath popular rock-climbing walls. It connects the Grindstone Trail to the summit area and offers dramatic close-up views of Pilot Mountain’s cliff faces, especially striking when fall foliage frames the quartzite ledges.
