About This Trail

Former logging road converted to a woodland hiking trail through regenerating Ouachita National Forest. Hardwood and pine canopy shades the path as the forest reclaims old timber-harvest clearings. A quiet route offering glimpses of wildlife and the natural recovery process in Arkansas’s mountain country.
