About This Trail
A 4-mile forest-and-river hike to the Lower Falls, where the Tahquamenon River splits into five cascades flowing around a wooded island. Rowboat rentals allow paddling to the island for a closer look at the falls. The trail passes through old-growth cedar and hemlock groves with frequent river views.
