About This Trail
A 5.1-mile scenic trail paralleling the Tahquamenon River between the Upper and Lower Falls through old-growth forest of giant cedars and hemlocks. The trail follows the river’s distinctive root-beer-colored waters with frequent views and wildflower displays. A quieter alternative to the main falls viewing areas with mixed footing and occasional muddy sections.
