About This Trail

Popular summit hike reaching 3,514-foot Marys Rock, the eighth-highest peak in Shenandoah National Park. From the Panorama parking lot, the 3.7-mile round trip gains 1,210 feet through hardwood forest. Standing atop the rocky fins offers true 360-degree views of the Shenandoah Valley and Massanutten Mountain.

Getting There

From Sperryville, enter Shenandoah National Park at Thornton Gap on US-211. The trailhead is at the Panorama parking area at mile 31.5 on Skyline Drive, near the Appalachian Trail connector.
